Our grower Martinavarro is the biggest citrus exporter in Spain with over 6,000 hectares of farms (that’s a lot of space for fruit!) and their own packhouse. They were the pioneers behind the pre-packed nets which came to fame in the UK during the 60s.
Martinavarro is the third largest citrus operator in the world and they have a talent for producing brightly coloured clementines with a lot of flavour and juice. They’re also brilliant at varietal innovation (that’s a fancy term for using brainy science stuff to find new varieties).
Martinavarro grows an array of citrus fruits: easy peelers, lemons, oranges and grapefruits. Their farms are spread across Spain which means they can chase the sunshine and give us more juicy fruits for a longer period.
