Here's how to make the most perfect Celeriac Mash 🧑🍳
🍈 1 x large celeriac root
🥔 3 x potatoes
🥛 1/3 cup of heavy cream
🧈 3 x tbsps of butter
1. Peel and chop the celeriac into small strips or cubes and place into a large saucepan of water. Add salt to season and bring to the boil over a high flame. Once boiling, turn the heat down and let simmer for around 10-12 mins.
2. Peel and chop the potatoes into small squares or cubes and add to the pan after 12 minutes. Allow to simmer on a medium flame for another 15 mins.
3. Drain in a colander and allow to steam for 1 min. Add them back to the saucepan and turn the heat to medium. Once there is no more liquid in the vegetables, add in the butter and cream and mix and mash together.
4. Once you reach a fluffy consistency you are done but do feel free to mix to your preference as some like it softer than others. Sprinkle with chives or fennel and a coriander leaf to serve.
